If you're reading this I'm going to assume you're either a current business owner looking expand online, or you're an entrepreneur that is in search of some new great business opportunities. Either way, read on because I've been around the block a few times, and know a thing or two about website hosting platforms.

Through trial and error, testing this and that, I've come to understand what to look for in a website hosting service that make things easier.

The Best Website Hosting Platform

For the sake of this article, I'm going to tell you what to look for when shopping, a few options to consider, followed by my recommendation for website hosting and why I recommend them. Let's get started…

What is a website hosting service?

What is a website hosting service? It's not as complicated as you think. Think of it as a party host. The party host is in charge of finding the best DJ for music, have a good company for catering services, and a few extra hands for collecting cash at entrance. They pull together all the needed pieces to make the party an enjoyable time.

Website hosting services create a one stop location for tech geeks like you and I to manage and grow different online websites. These services are different between each host, but some include integrations with site content creating tools, different website builders such as WordPress, keyword research tools, etc. all in one place to allow you to focus on what your good at.

What to look for in a website hosting service

A few things to look for in a good hosting service include:

  1. Do they integrate with your preferred website building service?
  2. What options do they allow for integrating other website apps such as payment gateways?
  3. Do they offer added tools such as keyword research?
  4. How many websites are you allowed to host before a price change?
  5. Do they offer good training content for beginners?
  6. Can you purchase a domain through them, or do you have to purchase it elsewhere and transfer it over?
  7. Do they have the ability to include email hosting for each website?

These are just a few to keep in mind, although some reading may argue there are others. Long story short, determine what you need a hosting service for, and choose the host that has all the tools you need in one place, along with some room for growth.

Here are a few options to consider

1) HostGator.com

HostGator is arguably one of the industry's leading website hosting platforms. They've been around for ages, and cater to those of you who like to use WordPress. The nice thing about them is they also allow you to buy your website and set it up with them from the get go!

They have the ability to integrate hundreds of different apps, and for the price, is hard to argue with!

The downside is they don't have an integrated email platform to work with your site, nor access to options for keyword research.  I found HostGator to be a great platform to work with.

2) BlueHost.com

I've personally never used BlueHost, although if you are a blogger, I know some of the top bloggers swear by these guys. BlueHost and HostGator are two close competitors that take up the majority of the market share.

With the ability to also integrate with WordPress, they offer a smooth and user-friendly platform from what I've seen, and what people have told me. I've yet to try them simply cause I haven't had the need to switch from my current provider.

3) WealthyAffiliate.com

Wealthy Affiliate may not come across to many as a hosting platform initially, but with over 800,000 users, they are growing very rapidly, and for great reasons.

They integrate with WordPress for creating your websites, and also work through another service called SiteRubix. SiteRubix is a basic website content creating platform that allows you to build your websites, then publish them to wordpress.

Not only does Wealthy Affiliate do all that HostGator and BlueHost can do, they also allow you up to 50 websites domains to host on one membership! They give you unlimited access to as many email accounts as you need all in one place.

Not to mention, they even offer free training and tutorials for members on how to build your website, get it ranked with google and top search engines, create good engaging content, and they teach you other ways to monetize your business!

They work perfectly for absolutely every type of website builder, be it a blog, a business website, or an ecommerce store. They will show you how the experts build and grow a money making website machine!

#1 Recommended Web Hosting Service Available

I personally use WealthyAffiliate currently. I haven't switched nor do I plan on it because they are the only platform that has LITERALLY everything in one place. With everyone else, you have to get different added services for each type of objective you want to achieve with your website. Not Wealthy Affiliate, they've got it all.  To top it all off, they give you all of this FOR FREE!

I started out using other platforms (I started with HostGator), but soon found they were difficult to understand and hard to use. Wealthy Affiliate has a 5 course training certification that shows you not only how to use the platform, but also how to grow your following online. Ranging from email marketing, affiliate marketing, placing ads on your website…you name it they will train you how to do the basics!

With their integrated platform, you can create content and even know how many words you've created in a post, then they will do a spell check, and scan the internet to ensure you post good unique content.

Did I mention they teach you how to use keywords in your content, and show you the top ways to get ranked with keywords?

Why Wealthy Affiliate over anyone else? Because simply put, they've got it all…and them some that any internet business or entrepreneur would need.
